June Moon Dance Weekend is residental dance weekend located 5 miles outside of Morgantown, WV on 13 acres of land (mostly wooded and hilly).  The dance pavilion (1900 sq. ft.) was built the summer of 2008.

Our first June Moon Dance in 2009 was a big success with Ron Buchanan and Contrarians and Rock Farmers.
June Moon Dance 2010 enjoyed the music of Groovemongers and Contrarian to the calling of Gaye Fife and Ron.
June Moon Dance 2011 brought Elixir and Contrarians with Nils Freland and Ron calling.
Last year still lives in our hearts as a wonderful weekend of dancing, music, friends and good times.

The weekend starts with a Friday night potluck and dance.  For weekend attendees we provide breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday breakfast.  All food is prepared on location with help from dancer volunteers.  Hot and cold beverages and snacks are provide during the dance.  We welcome all dancers to bring their favorite snack to share and contribute to our snack bar.

There are two restrooms right off the dance floor, one in the main house and two portable toilets. We also have 3 showers (hot and cold water).

This year there will be more camp sites available...however, the prime spots will go first so come early to reserve a camp space.  We don't reserve specific camp sites.  This is first come...first to set up camp.  Remember this is WV so there is limited flat land.  There are a total of 30 to 40 camp sites.  For those who don't want to camp we have several hotels and motels just 5 to 7 miles from the dance site.

If you are staying at a hotel or with local dancers there will be parking available behind our caretaker's home. We will have signs for you to follow.  This year we also have more parking available so it won't be as tight as in years past..  The walk from the parking area to the dance pavilion is down a gravel path (about the length of a city block).  Remember to bring flashlight and dance shoes!

This year's registration will be limited to 150 (both weekend and evening) dancers so register soon!

When we are not hosting dances we own and operate an accredited online high school - CompuHigh
